AMINGTON BRASS BAND CHRISTMAS SHOW

Join Tamworth’s own Amington Band for an evening of Christmas music and festive cheer. From classics and old favourites to more modern takes on Christmas carols, this programme will be full of Christmas spirit for the whole family.

Amington Band is a traditional British brass band based in the ex-mining village of Amington, Tamworth. Founded in 1917, it has been a fixture in the village for over a century and has continued to entertain the people of Tamworth and surrounding areas ever since.

The band is made up of up to 30 players of varying ages from near and far and the band rehearses twice a week under the guidance of Musical Director, Chris Barker, to bring entertaining programmes to its audiences and prepare for both regional and national competitions.
